The Energy Advocate
Events in the atmosphere, on land and in the oceans are Internal processes. Movement of life, Movement of the atmosphere and oceans, Transport of water and snow in clouds. What would the difference be to External Events (Sunlight in - Infrared radiation out) if there were no Internal processes? Would the External balance of energy in and out at the Top of Atmosphere be different? If it doesn't make a difference what kind of internal processes or if they occur at all, then any combination of Internal events should be possible and there would be no stability to the weather and life.
