Natural sources and sinks of CO2 are much bigger than human industrial emissions. The ice core records suggest that natural emissions and absorptions have been nearly the same for the past 10,000 years of the holocene, with CO2 concentrations hovering around 280 ppm during that time. Only during the past 200 years have atmospheric concentrations started to increase substantially. We are pretty close to 430 ppm now. I think all the dispassionate scientific evidence shows that this increase is good for life on Earth. Professor William Happer.
