The subject of essays can be:(a) the benefits of fossil fuels, hydro-electric and nuclear energy for all uses, not just electricity(b) benefits of their by-products including clothing, household essentials, sports equipment, convential medicine, nuclear medicine, etc.(c) why fossil fuels, hydro-electric and nuclear energy are essential for people and the environment in the modern world.

Dhruv Dharamshi: This is an award winning student paper at the World Nuclear University, Nuclear Olympiad, 2016. This paper addresses using nuclear energy in the fight against climate change. Dr. Theodore Rockwell pointed out that nuclear energy will be very important for humanity for climate change from all sources. Many scientists consider the main sources of climate change to be the sun and other natural sources. This is an outstanding student paper. It advocates employing nuclear energy for many serious challenges for humanity, nature and the environment, not just man-made carbon dioxide.
The National Christian Forensics Communication Association’s (NCFCA) team policy debate resolution for 2009-10 was Resolved: The United States should significantly reform its environmental policy.
Winning isn’t everything .... Now, as much as any students in our league, my partner and I wanted to win. Some people would admonish "debate is about learning" and they would be correct.

It’s almost humorous. Discussing nuclear energy as “alternate energy” is like calling the wheat in your bread a “grain substitute.”
I debate because ...? Debate is an academic pursuit. Most of my debate friends will quickly admit they began their debate experience under some duress.
