Robinson Meyer staff writer for The Atlantic: Climate change requires us to alter the biogeochemical organism that we call the global economy on the fly, in our lifetimes. Such a task should command most of the time and attention of every economist, agriculturalist, investor, executive, and politician—anyone who fancies themselves a leader in the physical workings of the economy, or whatever we call it. It is our shame, and theirs, that they don’t.

While people in cities across America are force-fed climate alarmism on the radio, in the TV, newspapers and magazines, this man, originally from Oklahoma, has to face reality that man-made carbon dioxide from fossil fuels does not control climate in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Mother Nature and the sun do. An amazing group of people and organizations demand that world stop using fossil fuels because they claim to "know" that fossil fuels cause catastrophic global warming. This includes: a) one of the world's richest persons - Bill Gates, b) the head of the Catholic Church - Pope Francis, c) almost all Democrats in America, d) many people in France and Germany, e) most organizations associated with nuclear power, and f) nearly all National Academies of Science around the world. Do you think all these people and organizations are right and everyone should be forced to stop buying gasoline for their car, stop buying natural gas for home heating and cooking, stop buying electricity from coal and natural gas electric generating stations, stop flying in jet-fuel powered planes, stop buying consumer goods from countries who deliver them by heavy fuel oil powered ships ?
