Benny Peiser, Director of the Global Warming Policy Forum (GWPF): This paper, produced by the Global Warming Policy Foundation and the German Wildlife Foundation, takes a Europe-wide look at the conflict between wind energy and nature conservation. In many European countries, people are opposing wind energy projects that are destroying wildlife habitats.

Never in history have nations advancing toward modernity made such shallow and foolish decisions about their energy sources as countries opting for 100% wind and solar. These very dilute energy sources are most vulnerable to variations in weather, extreme natural catastrophes and war. As the government selectss their energy supplies, so goes the nation in due time.
